LA Stylists Geri Cusenza and John Sebastian started the company in 1972 with a plan to take a generation from flower power to fearless hair fashion.  The company continues the innovation and fearless game-changing hair care today.

While working on Barbara Streisand's Butterfly album cover, Geri crafted a crimped look for her hair with a tool that would soon become an industry game changer.  Inspired by textile crimpers, the then revolutionary Crimping Iron turned out to be a big hit, selling millions on only 2 days.
